What IS Anal Bleaching?

Maybe this seems odd. Anal bleaching.

It shouldn’t be. Well not anymore.

You can put that shame away, it’s normal now. It’s not talked about quite out in the open as the majority of beauty routines. At least not in most people’s circles. (I think) But anal bleaching, anal whitening, or skin lightening (if you’re looking to keep it more generic), has become a staple in a lot of people’s beauty routines, from actors, actresses, CEOs, stay-at-home moms… we mean everyone. Maybe even your own boss!

I don’t suggest you ask though…

Unless the information is given up freely… Then no-holds-barred.

SO the question is, what is anal bleaching? For those who are familiar, welcome, and for those who are not sure, do not worry about the rate of which the word bleach is being thrown around without caution. We’re not talking about tossing up some Clorox down there like a routine mud mask. It’s a lot simpler than that. And if you’re wondering, in addition, anal bleaching has evolved. You no longer need to spread your cheeks for the professionals. You can do it at home! DIY became a trend that has continued over the decade, and anal bleaching cream has jumped on the bandwagon.

Let’s Ask Why

Why would anyone want to worry about bleaching their butt? There are so many reasons, if you could guess. One could say the main reason being, they rather… peachy not plum parts. Ultimately it comes down to skin discoloration. Through the years we age, our hormones change, women get pregnant, our skin chafes, our clothes rub, genetics, diet, and all this body action over the course of our years causes -for one reason or multiple reasons- our skin to change colors. Mainly between the cheeks. It’s actually normal though. Although it doesn’t sound like it.

However, there are a lot of things the human body does that is normal but not quite revered as beautiful. Our eyebrows naturally grow as one, but unibrows are frowned on in most parts of the world. So we pluck, wax, and shape them. We naturally grow hair in our armpits and women, even some men, prefer to shave them. Our anus skin naturally darkens over the years, and some people lighten [or bleach] them. It’s just natural to want to look our best.

So when you take it into consideration, it’s not all that weird.

For reasons that may not make it to everyday conversation, a darker anus is the product of many unforgiving situations. Diets can change the color of your feces, and well, to point out the obvious, feces are a part of life down there. And also one of the many reasons this even needs to be a conversation.

And to be frank, there’s really nothing you can do about that to prevent the inevitable. Except for anal bleaching. Anal bleaching cream can be used as a treatment to gradually lighten your skin. And you can totes bleach your bum at home. Creams, gels, and lotions are out and about to make dreams come true.

What IS Anal Bleaching?

Anal bleaching is the process of applying formulated ingredients to the skin around the anus, underarm, areola, or vulva in order to naturally lighten a deeper pigmented area. Considered a cosmetic procedure, the main ingredients used to lighten the anus over time are hydroquinone or kojic acid. Known to be the best ingredients for timely and satisfying results.

Despite that the word bleach implies something entirely different, using actual bleach can cause skin burns. In addition to these main ingredients, other creams, gels, or lotions may use other topicals like niacinamide and azelaic acid to help brighten the skin. Again, no actual bleach required.

Hydroquinone has been found to be the most effective, painless, and safe lightening ingredient. HQ helps to brighten any area by inhibiting the enzyme that helps produce melanin. Melanin is the natural pigment of the skin. You can find HQ in many over-the-counter creams. If you have ever used any acne treatments, you may have come in contact with Hydroquinone. Normally creams use about 2% strength, whereas a lot of professional salons will use about 8 – 10% strength. It’s worth it to note that anything higher could cause burning to the skin.

When it comes to anal bleaching creams, it would behoove you to test it on a small patch of skin to ensure you don’t find yourself in a predicament. No one needs any kind of mishap between the cheeks. However, following the instructions given to you will guide you through the application process and leave little to no chance of side effects.

With products like Intilight anal and skin bleaching, it is recommended that the cream be applied daily for best results. With the concentration of hydroquinone being a lot lower there’s less of a chance of a bad reaction but will take some time and consistency to reach the level of lightening you’re looking for.

Always keep in mind, every anus is different. People who have allergies, a skin condition, or sensitive skin may have a certain reaction to creams or treatment.

Safety First!

Don’t you worry, when anal bleaching is done correctly, it is perfectly safe. When you buy high end products like Intilight anal bleaching and skin lightening that is developed by dermatologist Dr. Balshi at Balshi Dermatology, you’re guaranteed safe and effective results. Stay away from cheap brands that have unregulated ingredients and formulas. These brands can lead to infection, skin damage, and possibly permanent skin discoloration. Which is clearly, the opposite of what is wanted in the first place. That would be horrible irony. Wouldn’t it?

A lot of brands outside of the USA are not regulated brands. So some of those anal bleaching creams may come with unexpected results or reactions. Cause well, we really wouldn’t know. But what we do know is that the booty is not an area worth finding out!

In Addition to Hydroquinone…

Here are a few ingredients you may want to find in your anal bleaching products:

Kojic acid: mentioned up-top, earlier in the discussion… This ingredient is an exfoliating acid that has been approved to be used in concentrations no higher than 1%. It also is known to help reduce the signs of skin aging. Lighter butt? Younger butt? No butts about it.

Malic Acid: naturally found in fruits, this acid helps decrease the pigmentation in the skin without having to use harsh(er) chemicals to lighten the skin. This natural alpha-hydroxy acid helps loosen the pigment cells from the skin and allows it to flake off and expose new skin. The lighter skin underneath.

Emblica Extract: an Indian Gooseberry serum. A natural skin lighter and a huge source of Vitamin C. For a lighter and healthier booty.

Lactic Acid: This being one of the most commonly known ingredients, in more than just anal bleaching creams. This acid is a dairy-derived natural alpha-hydroxy acid that helps even out skin tone and helps treat hyperpigmentation. It has to come in lactic acid form, just any ole dairy will not cut it. So let’s avoid pouring milk down your butt any time soon.

All ingredients come formulated differently. Every product is only as effective as your willingness to maintain the process and follow the instructions. Using products like Intilight skin lightening and anal bleaching are super user-friendly and very affordable. Preparation is half the battle! Most commercially DIY anal bleaching products and kits are normally made from all natural ingredients which keeps them on the safe side to use. So worry no more! Formulas found in Intilight are trying to offer the best solution for their consumers.

Things to note: anal bleaching needs consistency to last for a variation of time. Just the way your anus darkens, it will continue to darken. Walking, running, sitting, sweating, or any kind of friction can lead to more dark pigmentation. So the moment you quit treatment, your anus will revert back to its original state. However, over time the maintenance becomes easier. You can go from daily treatments to monthly touch-ups. Easy enough right?

But[t], results vary from anus to anus.
